Some training may be provided, but will be dependent on the volunteer, the Care Provider and the role in question. Care Now Volunteers includes all types of care home – including dementia, residential, nursing and mental health.
Care Now Volunteers aims to improve the quality of life for people living in Cornwall’s care homes. Our volunteers offer support, encouragement and companionship in activities identified by the residents or the administration of the local care home.
Volunteers will be matched based on their locality and skills against those Care Homes who have registered opportunities.
