Many Care Homes need volunteers to help in their gardens, involving all the usual tasks a garden needs.

Improving the gardens and local environment makes a difference, seeing the gardens flourish can enrich the lives of residents and make the garden a more beautiful place. 

No horticultural qualifications required, but experience of maintaining a garden would be advantageous. Gardening task can vary from helping plant a raised herb garden, weeding a garden or clearing a patio area to name a few.
