Care Now Volunteers provides a befriending service to lonely, socially isolated older people in some of West Cornwall’s care homes. Loneliness impacts a residents wellbeing, by volunteering and offering friendship to care home residents, who have few or no family or friends that visit, makes a huge difference to their quality of life and wellbeing.
